Q. Do I need to purchase web hosting separately?
A. Not at all. Every goodbusiness plan includes hosting.

Q. I already have a website. Can I copy it over to goodbusiness?
A. Yes. Simply contact us and we'll get it started.

Q. I want a custom design for my site. Can you help me?
A. Of course we can! We recommend working with goodbusiness' parent company, goodsite. After all, they know the system inside and out and can customize it to meet your needs.

Q. Can I upgrade or downgrade my monthly plan? How do i do this?
A. If you need to switch plans, just let us know. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time and there are never any penalties for doing so.

Q. Can I use my own domain name? Do I have to use mydomain.getgoodbusiness.com?
A. Once you become a paying customer, you can use your own domain name. The 30 day trial is limited to using the mydomain.getgoodbusiness.com address that is created when you first sign up.

Q. Does goodbusiness include email?
A. Yes, goodbusiness includes both POP3, IMAP (for Outlook and other mail readers) and even WebMail for when you're away from your computer.

Q. Once I start using goodbusiness, am I locked in? How do I get my customer data out?
A. We don't believe in "locking" people in. You can export your customer data at any time and cancel at any time. There are no long-term contracts and no termination fees. You have complete freedom and zero risk.

Q. What are the requirements for using goodbusiness?
A. All you need is a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari). goodbusiness is a completely web-based application. There is no hardware to maintain, no software to install and no maintenance or upgrades to worry about. We've taken care of the technology so you can take care of business.

Q. If I use goodbusiness, do I have to pay an upgrade fee to get the new features?
A. No. The beauty of goodbusiness is that you will always have the latest version. New features and updates are available for you to use as soon as they are released.

Website Management FAQ

Q. Do I need to have any programming skills to edit my website?
A. No you don't. If you can use a word processor, you can edit your website. Keep in mind that things like the overall design and functionality of your site may require help from a team of skilled web designers, like goodsite. Give them a shout, they'll be happy to help you achieve whatever design and functionality you need.

Q. I already have a great website. Can I transfer it to the goodbusiness system?
A. Sure! Simply contact us to set it up.

Q. Can things like Flash and Javascript run on the goodbusiness platform?
A. Yes, anything that would run on a regular website will run on goodbusiness.

eCommerce FAQ

Q. Do you take a cut of my online sales?
A. Never. Unlike some other e-commerce companies, we don't take a single cent of your sales.

Q. Is there a limit on the number of products I can have in my store?
A. No there isn't. Sell as many as you like.

Q. How do I collect payments for the products sold on my site?
A. There are many ways you can collect payments. You can use any of the existing payment gateways already supported, such as: Authorize.net, Google Checkout, PayPal and many more. Or you can opt to use the "Process Offline" method that captures payment details from customers and you can then process these manually using your existing point-of-sale (POS) system. You can also enable customers to choose to pay by Check and COD. If you have a merchant gateway that is currently not supported, we can implement support for a one-time fee.

Q. How does goodbusiness calculate shipping and handling?
A. goodbusiness allows you to create as many "Shipping Options" as you like, for the countries that you sell your products in. Your customer simply selects the appropriate options at check out time. You can also configure shipping options so only the relevant options appear that meet the weight and volume of the current products in the cart. Alternatively you can take advantage of the integrated shipping with FedEx, UPS, and DHL, where shipping charges are calculated on the fly based on the shipping destination and the weight/volume of your products.

Q. I already have a shopping cart for my online store. Why should I switch?
A. Because everything is integrated and works together seamlessly and flawlessly. There is no need to do extra work to add customers from the store to your CRM and then add extra analytics code to each page of your store to track your customers. goodbusiness' integrated email marketing will automatically calculate the ROI of your email marketing, customer loyalty, email coupon or discount-code campaigns without having to purchase extra software or add complex tracking codes by hand.

Email Marketing FAQ

Q. Can I brand my Email Newsletters with my company logo and color scheme?
A. Absolutely. We allow you to completely customize every aspect of your email marketing campaigns.

Q. Do you add any goodbusiness graphics or links to my email newsletters?
A. No, we stay completely anonymous. None of your customers, or your competition, will know you're using goodbusiness for your email marketing.

Q. How many people can subscribe to my email newsletter?
A. As many as you can sign up. We never limit the number of subscribers to your newsletter.

Q. What if I want to send more than 10,000 newsletters every month?
A. No problem. Every goodbusiness plan allows you to send 10,000 email newsletters per month at no cost. If you want to send out more you'll need to buy extra email newsletter packs.

Customer Database FAQ

Q. How many customer contact and lead forms can I create?
A. You can create as many as you need. The system will even generate code that lets you capture leads and customer information from other websites hosted at a different company. This will allow you to gather leads from multiple sources and place them into a single customer database.

Q. Is there a limit on the size of my customer database?
A. No there isn't. Your database can scale to tens of thousands of customers and beyond.

Q. We already use a third party CRM. Can we still use goodbusiness?
A. Absolutely. However, you'll need to import and export data between the two systems in order to get the full benefit. Ask us about integrating goodbusiness' database with your CRM.

Q. I need to capture special demographic information from my customers.
A. No problem. Our CRM gives you ultimate flexibility to collect and store any customer information you need. We can customize the CRM to meet your needs. Simply contact us and let us know what you need.
